Eastern Hemlock Print 8x10
**Limited edition** Only 50 prints available!
We often appreciate the beauty of nature without considering what subtle changes may be taking place that could effect the landscapes we love. The Eastern Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) is a native of Eastern North America gracing many beloved mountainsides and forming forests which create essential food and shelter. But these beautiful trees are in danger of infestation from an insect called the Woolly Adelgid. Across the Eastern United States, you can see the affect these insects have had on the decline on these important trees.
One percent of the sales of this print will be donated to the Hemlock Restoration Initiative and their efforts to mitigate damage to hemlocks caused by infestation of the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid.
